Chapter 59. Know the Truth

Daniella just stared at Alexa for a few minutes and felt like she knew whose body was lying on the bed. “I feel like we both have a connection to each other. I just can’t say what it is.”

The door opened, and Jack entered the room looking at his cell phone, so he hadn’t seen Daniella looking at him as soon as the door opened.

Jack put his phone in his pants pocket and raised his head, but it was right where Daniella was looking, and she immediately frowned. “You?” Jack said with a shocked face.

She wondered. “You know me?”

Jack’s forehead furrowed even more. “Don’t you remember me? I’m a mushroom.”

She stared at him. “I’m sorry, but I don’t know you.”

In Jack’s mind, “Impossible, we just met at a mall. How come she doesn’t know me anymore?”

Lexie suddenly entered, as if carrying bad news. “Jack, we need to talk outside.” She looked at Daniella. “I’ll leave you here again first. We’ll just be a minute outside.” She smiled a little at Daniella
