Chapter 163. Lost

Chloe POV

It's been a whole six months since he left me… and I've been standing right in front of his house, staring at the door for the past three hours. I can't believe he would do something like that. The house appeared to have been deserted, and I am at a loss as to where he could be.

Yesterday… I went to his office, but the receptionists informed me that it's been six months since Easton last reported in the company. Hans was the one who was filling in for the CEO at the moment.

I also didn't know where his mom was. But only one call to Chad and I could easily find him. I think… I'm just afraid to face him.

My heart hurts… not like the first time we broke up. This hurt… and it caused an ache deep within my soul. Everything that I had hoped for and dreamed about was taken away from me, and I am left with nothing. It was pitch black everywhere, and everything hurts. Things that never hurt me before, hurt me now.
