Chapter 162. Collided

I dashed down the stairs and jumped into my Audi, but I had no idea where I was supposed to go. The house in Hoboken that she shared with her parents was the first thing that came to my mind. Even though it would take me about two hours to drive, I had no choice but to go and check on Chloe in order to find out if she was really there.

Even after seven attempts, I was unable to reach her via her phone. Where are you, Chloe?

I arrived at Hoboken at past eight o'clock in the evening… and the drive there took me almost exactly one hour only. Because I was so desperate to find Chloe, I drove my car at a rate of speed I had never before experienced in my life.
