Chapter 150

Sofia’s POV

I walked inside of Sterling’s s office. He was staring out of the window and turned around to face me. His eyes looked me up and down and he seemed to pick up instantly that I was pissed off. We were supposed to be working together. If Mateo was here I should have been as well. I deserved to know this information just as much as they did.

“Love—” He began but I cut him off.

“Don’t you Love me!” My irritation was clear in my voice.

“I heard Mateo was here. Sterling, you promised me!”

“I know. I can explain.” His tone and face were serious.

“There had better be a damn good explanation!” My face was as cold as my tone. I wasn’t going to go easy on him.

“Sit.” He motioned to one of the chairs.

“Please.”

I didn’t say anything as I took a seat across from his chair. Usually, I would pull one around to look over things beside him. Not this time. I was staying over here to get my point across to him.

He sat down
