By the time I reached my apartment building,my head was pounding and I just wanted to crawl into bed.But the second I stepped into the apartment,Kaylee rushed towards me,eyes wide with concern.

“There you are!”she said,rushing to shut the door behind me.”You need to sit.Now.Adrian’s on TV.He’s holding a press conference,it started like five minutes ago.”

I blinked at her.”What?”

She tugged me toward the couch like it was life or death,and I didn’t have the energy to fight her.My bag dropped with a soft thud behind me.The TV was already on and as I sat beside my best friend,the announcer called his name.
