Zevara’s POV

From the arena where I stood with the cheerleading team, I could feel Talon’s eyes on me—pinning me in place and I almost couldn’t breathe as everyone’s eyes were on me now. Of course, everyone could notice that the famous Grand Prince had eyes on me. He was easily distracted from his game.

A few times, I could feel the way Nina glanced at me and twisted her face in anger. I had tried to talk to her a few times—tell her that I didn’t care about him and that I would keep to the promise, but she barely spared me a chance. I decided not to force it since it might cause a scene here, so I made the mental note to talk to her later.

I muffled a stifled yawn and pressed a palm to my heavy eyes. Fuck. I hadn’t slept a wink last night. After Talon sucked my fingers and left, I just couldn’t think of anything else other than the fact that Alpha Magnus might be pissed off. Other than the fact that I shouldn’t have let him do it—I should’ve pushed him away.
