Zevara’s POV

It's been two days since I last saw Talon. Two days since he insulted me in the cruelest manner. Two days since he called me what I hated the most. Two days since he reminded me of the same destiny I was striving hard to break free from. Two days since he left and never looked back.

A few times, I hoped desperately that I’d bumped into him in college or at the mansion, but unfortunately…. I didn’t. It was like he vanished from the surface of the earth completely.

Over a thousand times I had asked myself why I cared. Why did my heart still longed for him? Why ds it feel like a part of me was locked away forever?

Then I realised something dreadful… I missed the way he looked at me like I was his world. I missed the way he spoke to me and his voice was the sweetest melody I’d ever heard. I missed the way he called me beautiful and spoke highly of my scent. I won’t even lie that I was starting to get used to being around him.
