Chapter 33. Brotherly Advice
Liesl finished putting the new linen on her bed and smiled happily. It was so pretty.
“I told you so,” Fred commented with a smug grin.
“You are the best interior designer in the world, and I am so fortunate to have you,” she kissed his cheek.
“Yes, you are.” He looked around the room. “This is a nice place.”
“It really is. I love this room. It’s so nice.”
“You got such a good deal on it too.”
“I did. I can’t believe how fast everything came together.”
“Have you heard from Isaias?”
She shrugged. “He called me Sunday night and then I messaged him yesterday. He messaged last night to say he was coming back from LA today sometime, but he had to deal with issues relating to his contract.”
“Did you talk to him?”
“No,” she avoided her brother’s gaze.
