The outline of Lyra’s form appears behind the trellis near the castle, the thick leaves and dangling blooms of lavender wisteria obscuring her from my full view. But still, the sight of her, the feeling of her presence, has my heart bristling with warmth.

The Forsethia castle garden is packed with spectators from Oceana, Forest Kingdom, Oceana, Mountain Kingdom, as well as all the smaller human kingdoms of Maelie, Winter Haven, even Calistia and Baronell from the southernmost regions. Even the witches of the forest are honored guests, leaning forward in their seats with anticipation, seated only a few rows back.

For now, the Grand Temple of the Moon Goddess is missing its Grand High Priestess, since Dyannah stands behind me to officiate, along with High Priestesses Freyja, Reliquin, and Silanya, who stand at her side.
