Luka’s POV

As soon as we walked into the house, I bowed my head in a respectful courtesy and Gabriel did the same. The girls soon huddled up together, talking about how much they missed each other and how sorry they were. They were too engrossed in their world to even notice any other person in the room. I know just how much Paige means to Crystina. I mean, at some point I felt like the side chick. I was jealous of what they had and I always wished I could have the same with Crystina.

During the past few weeks, I’d learned that I’m also important to my mate and when she told me she loves me, I swore never to break her heart or hurt her feelings. I promise to cherish her, respect her, and love her for the rest of my life.
