Chapter 33
Crystina’s POV
The following morning when I woke up, I found a blanket on my body, which surprised me because I don’t remember getting up to pick one. Whoever bothered to bring me this fluffy thick blanket deserves a great week. After taking a quick bath, I planned to visit the Beta and ask him when I could start working at the Pack’s kindergarten. Volunteering to teach math at the high school didn’t seem like a sensible option.
“Good morning, Miss Mary,” I greeted, picking up an apple from the kitchen fruit bowl and taking a bite.
“It’s twelve, Luna,” she replied with a smile. My eyes widened as I checked the time on my phone. My mind had been preoccupied with a lot of things, and I hadn’t bothered to check the time when I woke up.
“Wow! I didn’t realize it was past noon already.”
“You must be hungry. I can serve your lunch right away,” she suggested, but I declined, eager to get on my way.
