LUKA’S POV

“To what do I owe this unpleasant visit, Mellissa?” I grumbled as I walked into my office to see Mellissa sitting at my table with a wide grin on her face.

“Since when did my visit become unpleasant, Alpha? I thought I was your guest; shouldn’t you treat me with kindness?”

After what she did to my mate, I planned on walking her out of my pack forever, but on second thought and out of respect for her father, I left her alone, hoping she’ll decide to leave once she wants to.

“You didn’t treat my mate with kindness, so why should I reciprocate something you didn’t do?” I challenged.

“I guess you only cared about her own side of the story and wouldn’t bother with mine.”

I smirked at her stupidity. For the past three days, I’ve been pestering Crystina to tell me what caused that fight between them, but my mate was so stubborn that she refused.

“Get off my table.”

She stood up, straightened her skirt, and walked toward me.
