CRYSTINA’S POV

Even though Luka had said he would ground me for not telling him about what had happened between Mellissa and me, nothing happened. I can’t say if he actually told the guards or maids not to let me out of the house because I didn’t make any attempt to leave myself. Kris had been on edge since the day we fought Mellissa, and she wasn’t in the best mood to be among people. It might be dangerous that way.

I only allowed her for a run last night, and it was for a few minutes before we returned back home. I didn’t want her to go too far, and still, she wouldn’t stop nagging and complaining about how I was a party pooper. She said if only I had allowed her to fight others during the past year, they would’ve known she wasn’t that easygoing type.
