Crystina’s POV

Mellissa had a big and victorious smile on her face as she walked into the house with her designer ensemble. I turned to look at Luka for the first time that day, and he was staring at Mellissa with a smile.

“Welcome, Mellissa,” he gestured for her to sit next to him. “We’re having lunch right now, and I was hoping you would love to join.”

“Of course, it would be an honor to have lunch with Alpha and Luna,” she gave me a side-eye.

Turning to Mary, Luka instructed, “Direct these men to the room before mine on the second floor. I called for the interior decoration. Once they’re here as well, do the same,” he commanded. Mary gave me a look before she walked the men to the second floor.

Mellissa turned to me and bowed. “Hello, Luna. It’s been a while since I saw your face. Ooh, I think I saw it yesterday on the news blog,” I bit down on my lower lip to stop the tears that threatened to fall.

I scoffed. “Good for you.”
