Chapter 20. Assailant
“Who are you?” asked Faust in an angry manner. “What did you do to them!?” He cried as he was pertaining to the lifeless bodies of his fellow splitters.
But Assailant did not reply… he just snarled at Faust, his furious crimson red eyes remained focus on Faust as his eyes remained still and was not blinking.
“So you think we don’t know who you are? Ha!” said Faust with a zeal expression. “I know who you are… you’re the soul stealer whom Demeon gave the name – the Assailant!” said he with utter conviction “…and whatever reasons you had to become a soul stealer is, we don’t care because I’m assuming that it’s probably the same shallow reasons you have just like your fellow monsters Conscience and Mischief.” Faust added.
But Assailant just looked unmoved and did not waste any effort to respond to his assertion, instead Assailant replied with a quick attack to Faust, disregarding the latter’s claim.
