After he’d showered after his workout, Jake thought he’d duck downstairs to see Odette and make sure she had been properly taken care of and perhaps sneak in a few more kisses. He keyed in the pin pad code and crept down the stairs in the semi-darkness; the only dim light visible was spreading from the door of ‘her’ room. He wondered who had left the lights on as he walked unintentionally silently toward the room, clad only in a pair of socks. He heard a male groan and paused before tiptoeing the rest of the way to look into the room. He was rewarded with the sight of Sam and Odette writhing against each other on her bed.
