The roars of men—their moans in agony and their battle cries—echoed throughout the mountain range. Buried beneath a beige cloud of dust, the battle raged, swords clanging as they clashed, and sparks sparking as they struck armor. The dunes utilized their speed and concealment abilities to evade and deliver powerful sneak attacks, and the Haunters used their heightened senses, moving as fast as the wind and swinging their weapons at whatever place their instincts predicted their assailants to be—their instincts were terrifyingly accurate, to say the least, rendering the dunes’ camouflage useless. Prince Desmond had offered the Haunters artifacts to make them stronger
