Mirabelle’s POV

A few nights ago, Noah told me about a business event that Natasha had invited him to, happening tomorrow. Apparently, he’d have the chance to meet with the man who was looking to sell a few properties in Shanghai.

At first, I was skeptical, a part of me felt uneasy. But then, I heard a little voice in my head ask. “Don’t you think you’re overreacting?” I guess I had been overthinking it.
