Throughout the journey, the temperature inside the car had not gone up but instead decreased. By the time they returned to Chelsea Creek, she felt like she was turning into an ice lolly. Ethan not only lacked empathy but also impatiently urged her, “Lunch has already been skipped. Hurry up and make dinner; I’m hungry.” Samantha really, really wanted to slap him. But remembering his recent act of valor, she had to suppress her dissatisfaction and obediently returned to the kitchen to prepare dinner. To express her gratitude for Ethan’s help, Samantha intentionally prepared a few more dishes. Five dishes, one soup, plus a dessert. “Although your mouth is venomous, and you’re narcissistic, but today, thank you. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be able to see my grandpa even if I knelt down with broken legs!” Ethan raised an eyebrow, “What did you say?” Samantha immediately chuckled, lightly patting her lips and apologizing, “Nothing, I misspoke. You’re not just handsome; you also have
