Chapter 95. Mia’s Decision
"He's evil, Mom. He's cruel!" the girl groaned while gripping her mother's shirt with all her might. Unfortunately, the pain didn't go away either. Her chest was getting tighter, pierced by the scattered pieces of her heart.
Unable to say any more, Minnie was silent. With a gloomy face, she provided a shoulder for the daughter to lean on. The old woman knew that Mia had just felt a broken heart. There was no cure for it, other than time to be able to assemble it into a whole again.
A few minutes later, the room finally began to fall silent. The remaining cries were no longer heard. Only the girl's shoulders occasionally lifted slightly.
"Are you feeling any better?" Minnie asked in a low voice.
