Chapter 94. A Scattered Heart

"Please tell my mother that I'm waiting in her room," Mia pleaded, trying to curl her lips. Unfortunately, the sadness hung in the corner was too heavy. She turned to look so pitiful.

"All right, Miss. Just leave it to me," Lena said, nodding confidently. A second later, she went to do the job.

Just as the servant's back disappeared around the corner, Mia's gaze returned to the floor. While furrowing her brows, the secretary processed the information from Lena.

“So, Julian went to Mother's room that day. What has he heard?" she thought while checking the memory.

After a moment of silence, a disbelieving sigh wafted from Mia's mouth. “Did he hear the part of Mother cursing at him? Was it because of that, he decided to give up on our relationship?”

After bowing a little deeper, the secretary nodded and pursed her lips. Another tear spilled from her eye.

"Maybe, he wants to repay his hurt," Mia thought, assuming.
