"What should we do, Greta?" Gabriella asked unexpectedly. It was hard for her to stay still.
"I don't think you need to worry, Sweetheart. My father might forget what happened earlier after his nap. It happens often," the well-built woman explained, nodding reassuringly.
"Is that so? What if he doesn’t forget?” Gabriella replied with one eyebrow raised higher.
Realizing that the woman in front of her had a too soft heart, Greta broke the tension with a crisp laugh. "You don't have to worry, Beautiful. If by afternoon my father and Julian still haven't made up, I'll lock both of them in the stable until they reconcile."
Understanding Greta's intention to calm her restlessness, Gabriella’s face got brightened. Catching the curve of his wife's sweet lips, Max spontaneously smiled.
