Chapter 49. Bleeding
I moved my hand and felt that it was tied. My two hands are tied up. So is my foot underneath. It was a steel chain and needed a key to open it. I struggled to remember what had happened. I don’t know how many hours I’ve been asleep.
“W-where am I?! Help!” I screamed. I’m in prison. It stinks. It’s dark. The floor is still stained with blood.
“D-daughter—” I looked to the side and saw the familiar face of the man. Like me with my hands and feet tied but lying on the floor while I was standing but tied and my hands are up. The legs are parted. I’m so nervous. Memory wants to return, but there seems to be an obstacle. “W-who are you?”
“Isabella, child.” He said weakly. He is skinny and has no strength.
“P-Papa?” He slowly nodded. His beard and thinness did not hinder his beauty from being seen.
“I-It’s me. Isabella why did you go? They’re going to kill you.” He said almost in a whisper. I couldn’t reach him because he was pretty far away.
