Chapter 14. Shopping Together

After he was ready with everything he needed, Mario went straight to Rachel who was preparing breakfast at the dining table.

Mario smiled faintly then swiftly walked over to Rachel. “Good morning, what are you cooking, honey?” asked Mario while poking his wife’s chin, intending to tease her.

“Hurry up and eat and don’t talk too much!”

“What is wrong with you? Why are you so angry today?” asked Mario, confused.

“Is it true? Wasn’t I always like this? Where have you just sobered up?” she growled.

Indeed, Rachel’s attitude towards Mario never changed, so where had Mario been before until he realized this now?

“Oh yeah, even the groceries are finished, I think I’m going to go shopping, I mean, I want some money,” Rachel squeaked uncomfortably.

After all, what else do you want? Mr. Hans told Rachel to ask Mario for money for kitchen needs. So no they all won’t eat!
