Chapter 20. Fine

“Rachel?” Mario called on the other end of the line when he heard Rachel sobbing.

“Rachel, what’s wrong with you? Tell me!” muttered Mario. The man was really confused when he could only hear his wife’s sobs.

Confused, what happened to Rachel so that the woman sobbed?

Mario had tried to persuade Rachel to calm down, but that woman had filled him to the core. Of course, it made Mario worried.

What was Rachel thinking about? Or what is bothering her mind?

“Calm down?” asked Mario when he heard Rachel’s crying voice that had subsided.

“When are you coming home? I missed you so much,” Rachel said softly.

While Mario who heard that was stunned for a few seconds. Didn’t he hear wrong? Or a wrong call? What’s wrong with Rachel? Doesn’t it seem like she doesn’t like Mario’s presence in her life?

Mario thought his woman would be happy when Mario didn’t come back home, even left the world when the earthquake happened.
