“Then prove it, Reagan Hill.” She said, teasing him and enjoying this side of him. She never saw this side of him, so scared for her dad. Good, he should be. the moment her dad would know about this leg incident of hers, she couldn’t even imagine what her father would do to him.
“Never did I imagine you would be so scared for my father, Reagan Hill.” She taunted more, for him to take the bait.
And goodness, by heavens, the damn Reagan answered the phone call of her father.
“Oh, good morning, Mr. Makarov. You called?” He spoke and took a pause, he glanced at her, “Oh, you’re daughter? She’s in good hands,” then another pause, “Oh, she’s sleeping.”
She cleared her throat and prepared to yell, “Hey dad!”
That made Reagan give her a death glare and put his hands on her mouth to stop her from speaking more but it was too late. Her father seemed to hear her voice and was demanding to talk to her judging by the grim look on his face.
