Chapter 9
Legend has it that there’s always a reason that souls meet. Because when Axel’s eyes met mine, my soul pointed at him and whispered to my heart ‘him.’ I let out a deep sigh as I saved my work and closed my laptop. It was two in the afternoon and I had just finished another chapter. I leaned back on my chair and looked at the blue sky. Then I looked down at all the homework that was piling up on my desk. With a heavy sigh I opened my
workbook and started doing my homework. I would rather do Axel, but I guess we can’t always get what we want.
After I finished doing my homework I went downstairs to make myself something to eat. Let me rephrase that better, I went downstairs to see if there was leftover food in the fridge that I could heat up. Except for frying or boiling eggs, I was a horrible cook. The last time I
tried to make something I accidentally put my mom’s kitchen on fire. Long story short, she doesn’t trust me in her kitchen anymore.
