Chapter 54. Forced to Work for Don

“Come this way, Matteo. You can borrow my clothes until Don softens towards you. You can use my phone to contact your family. Tell them not to worry and never to contact the police. If they do, Don won’t spare you.”

Matteo nodded and went inside a small, clean room with an attached washroom. He knew this would be his home for the next few months, until he satisfied Don with his dedication. He didn’t complain. At least he was alive! He could go through this.

After ten minutes, he stood with Roberto in front of Don’s study, awaiting his permission to enter. Matteo didn’t know what Don would discuss with him, but this time he didn’t want Luigi’s presence in the room.
