Chapter 97. Settling Down in Amy's House

“Come, let’s sit here, closer to granny,” said Amy, leading her towards an old lady with white hair perfectly coiled into a bun wearing a beautiful flowing maxi dress in blue. She looked kind with twinkling warm brown eyes, and Brooklyn liked her immediately. “This is my granny, Clara. Granny, this is Brooklyn,” introduced Amy.

“Please make yourself at home, Brooklyn. We’re glad to have you here with us,” said granny Clara. Later, Amy introduced the rest of the family to her.

Her grandpa, Dan Mitchell, smiled at her but then went back to the game of chess that he was playing with Amy’s dad, Jonathan Mitchell, and her brother, Ryan Mitchell.

Amy’s mom, Emily Mitchell, looked quite busy as she spoke to their housekeeping staff.

Amy’s sister-in-law, Megan Mitchell greeted her warmly as she tried to feed her 20-month-old son, Alex.

Amy’s uncle, Henry Mitchell and aunt Dana Mitchell along with their eighteen-year-old sons, Wesley and Blade were talking to a
