Zade has to have lost his mind because there is no way he just said what I thought he did.
I looked up at him, my eyes narrowed in disbelief to find he is still watching me, an expectant expression on his face.
"You cannot be serious." I breathed out a laugh. Snorting would be the right word to use.
He stared at me unblinking for about ten seconds before shaking his head slowly, like he couldn't believe what was happening either. Good, that makes two of us.
"It is mutually beneficial." I shook his hand off me and stepped back, more laughter pouring from my mouth not that I found it funny.
"I just want to be clear I heard you right." I muttered, blinking. "You can hear yourself right?"
He nods. "And I agree with me."
He groans and runs his hand through his hair. His eyes found me again, I'm already standing at the other end of the room in my plan to keep as much distance between us as possible.
