"You seem to be in a foul mood." I shot William a stern glare, hoping that would shut him up.

He didn't shut up of course, he just threw his head back and laughed.

"I know it has nothing to do with the council," he brings his glass up to his lips and takes another sip of the whiskey he has been nursing since I came down here. "Though I have to say, bold of you to still be here after you fucked them over. Not only once."

"Word gets around fast." He barks out another loud laugh.

He holds out his glass for me, like we are about to toast to something. "Only you will fake the completion of your assignment, and then have the werewolf king come to do your bidding. Without even calling him." he shakes his head, his eyes sparkling with wonder. "You have to give me the tips."

"It starts with shutting your mouth up." I turn my glare to my still untouched glass of whiskey. Like just staring at it will help my sour mood.
