Chapter 162

ALPHA ZADE

I was about two floors away from Alpha Asher's floor when I started feeling strange.

I couldn't explain what was going on. Cassian was acting weirdly. Growling for no reason and thrashing in my head, fighting for control.

At first, I shook it off thinking it was just the exchange with Gracie that was annoying him. It wasn't. I figured that part out when nothing calmed him down.

It couldn't be the full moon. It isn't in effect yet so he should be fine for the next few hours.

I'm still stuck between what the hell he was feeling and why I was feeling strange myself, when the elevator doors opened. I didn't waste any time before getting out and rushing to the room which was at the end of the hall.

Feyre will probably be pissed at me. She wanted time with her alpha, to discuss whatever was bothering her that she couldn't tell me, but here I am, intruding.

But the thing is, I'm not even doing this because I'm jealous of him or anything.
