The nurse the doctor mentioned came about ten minutes after he left, if I counted correctly.

She was dressed in the usual nurses uniform and was plainfully human like him. She kept looking at me like she expected me to jump her or something. Which would be impossible seeing as they had tied me down.

It made me wonder if they knew what I was.

Werewolves and other supernatural beings were just a fantasy to them. It didn't make any sense that she would even suspect I was anything other than human.

From the pain I'm feeling in my back, my healing is not kicking in and with the lack of presence from my wolf. I'm guessing I'm almost fully human now.

She gives me the meds, checks my vitals then walks out, without a word in my direction.

On any other day, I wouldn't have minded someone not speaking to me. Right now, when I'm drowning with many crazy thoughts and need for answers, I would give anything to have her explain what the fuck is going
