Chapter 23

ALPHA ZADE

She growls again, it is so angry that it sounds like a battle cry.

I only saw a flurry of movement in front of my eyes and instincts took over.

I stretch my hand out and grip her by the throat again, it is much harder to get my hand to go around her neck but I still have a firm enough grip, which is all I am looking for.

I shake her so hard that I see her eyes roll to the back of her head. She whines lowly, the sound sets me off because it reminded me of how she sounded when she moaned.

Her arousal is still present in the air and asides throbbing in my pants, the dampness from when Cassian trapped her is still imprinted on my leg.

I don't let myself think about it twice, I fling her in the opposite direction from the stairs.

I didn't want to aim for that, if anything happens to her it'll be my responsibility, I don't want to deal with it. She is my father's guest and as much as I hate it, I can't do much about it.
