ALPHA ZADE

"How is the mate?" he inclines his head toward her.

I refuse to face her, feeling like I'm letting her win by doing that.

"I want her to leave," he opened his mouth to speak but I cut him off. "Real soon and I'm going to make it happen,"

I walk away from him with those words. I hear his footsteps behind me, even when we get to the table, he doesn't mention her again or say anything that has to do with her.

I eye my right, where she is, although giving me her back as she conversed with more people from the pack. I can't tell what the hell they are talking about or what she is saying, but they are all listening earnestly.

I shoot her an annoyed glance, fighting the urge to pull her by her hair and make her sit well.
