Chapter 31

Nelly was so lucky that Neuer was quick enough to catch her. Everything happened so fast. Even Amanda didn't see the build up to anything that happened. All she saw when she turned was Neuer holding Nelly. 

"Ahem!" Amanda cleared her throat. It was like Neuer was planning on holding Nelly like that forever. He was lost in his stares into her eyes. Wow! He must have thought her to be very beautiful and charming. 

It was after Amanda cleared her throat that Neuer had to gently pull Nelly up, take his hands off her waist and finally, he let her go. 

"Thank you, Sir…thank you so much. I can't start to imagine…"

"Shh! You do not have to thank me for anything. I think you really need to eat something now."
