Chapter 88

Nelly heard the voice loud and clear. Was this the reason Neuer's voice was like that? He was making out with another woman even when they were engaged. 

“Neuer? What's…”

“I'm sorry about that, baby. It's my…”

Neuer didn't know what to call her. She was not his friend and there's no way he would expect Nelly to understand what his ex was doing in his house. They had known each other for years and he never told her about his ex. Why did she suddenly appear few days after Nelly travelled? 

“Neuer? Is there another person?”

“Common babe. There's no other. It's just you.”

Nelly didn't wait to hear more of his ‘lies.’ She ended the call and fresh tears rushed to her eyes, falling freely down her face. Once again, she has been hurt on love. She regretted giving Neuer a chance. She took off his ring and placed it safely in a box. She would return his ring to him. She needed to cool her head,she got dressed, grabbed her car keys and hit the road
