Chapter 168. Forging Design

When Rachel was discharged from the hospital, Itzel, being her best friend, came to see her. The two met and chatted about their daily lives, and of course, the topic gradually navigated itself to Celia.

Itzel told Rachel that Celia had visited the hospital for a check-up. It was confirmed that she was pregnant, thereby giving Rachel the greenlight to start foiling her plan. Rachel was undoubtedly elated to hear this news. It was a good thing for the Barron family to have many descendants, but the only problem was that she’d need to deal with Rodney. She realized that in that aspect, she couldn’t rush things and had to take her time.

Rachel made Itzel promise to keep it a secret for now. She needed Celia to take good care of herself for the time being. When the time was right, she would break this news to Rodney. If everything between Celia and Rodney were to unfold smoothly, Rachel would only need to think of a way to get rid of Amber.
