Chapter 208. Pass Out

Amber was planning to move back to the Black family. However, she did not expect Rodney to call her that night. He told her that he witnessed Channing being hospitalized and asked if she planned to visit him.

Amber had happened to watch Channing on the TV regarding news of his meeting in the province the day before. Channing seemed energetic then. He did not look sick. Why would he suddenly be admitted to the hospital?

She recalled the time when Channing had pretended to be sick and hospitalized. Amber had a hunch that something must have happened to Channing during his meeting at the province, so he pretended to be sick again. So, she didn’t take it to heart.

Not long after dinner, Aunt Maleah called to inform Amber that Channing had been admitted into the hospital because he had passed out. She requested Amber to head over to the hospital to visit him.
