Johnathan sat in front of the hospital bed and answered, “She has a fractured leg and the doctor has already put a cast on it. She has been sent back home and will need to rest for about two months.”

Upon hearing this, Serena urgently asked, “Who took her home? How could she get home on her own like this? Didn’t you say you would take care of her and make sure she was settled in? How did you come back so quickly?”

Serena was extremely worried, staring at Johnathan with a strange look, feeling like something otherworldly was happening.

Satisfied, Serena could not hold back her anger and wanted to get out of bed again.

Johnathan quickly stopped her, grabbing her shoulders and saying, “Just calm down, can you please listen to me first?”

“Hurry up and speak!” Serena urged impatiently.
