Chapter 17. Lost Alpha
On the brink of an eye, so many things had happened. I was so quick, I couldn't even follow it.
Amara was the one who attacked the captors, while Zee untied me and removed the cloth wrapped around my mouth.
"Zee, stop this! please, just leave me alone!" I shouted.
"I'm not gonna leave you here, alone, Terrence," said zee. "But if you're talking about Amara being the one were leaving, then let's go. I'll even take the lead."
I shook my head, and caressed her cheeks. Both of it.
"Zee… this isn't the world you thought it is. There are more dangerous creatures residing here, and they might hurt you. I never wanted that to happen to you."
Zee caressed the same hand I used for caressing her cheeks. "I know, okay? I'm not as dumb as dumb as you think I am. But whatever danger it is, I won't leave you."
There was a sudden appearance of a cockroach in her feet, and she shouted in fear, she jumped and let them carry her.
