[Somewhere in the desert]

The tenazoids had halted to a stop; it was already sunset, and nightfall was fast approaching.

Once again, the mission team was tasked with making tents and fires to camp for the night.

Emmanuel and Lily got off their tenazoids. Emmanuel stretched continuously as Lily struggled to drag her tent equipment and camp bed to a spot she felt would be comfortable for her.

It didn’t take too long; by the time the team had set up the necessary equipment, it was already nightfall, and everyone was around the campfire eating a variety of edibles.

“You guys haven’t spoken to us since we began our mission,” Cherry said, knees curled up to her body. She had kept her noodle pack close to the fire in the hopes that it would heat up.
