That night—or at least what they assumed was night—Hannah and Jessica whispered in hushed tones, finalizing their plan.
“He’s too confident,” Hannah muttered. “That’s his weakness.”
Jessica nodded. “So how do we use it against him?”
Hannah thought for a moment. “We need him close enough that we can grab the keys, but we also need to distract him long enough to actually unlock the door.”
Jessica frowned. “That’s risky.”
Hannah smirked. “Everything about this is risky. But it’s our best shot.”
Jessica sighed. “Alright. What do we do?”
Hannah took a deep breath. “We need to make him believe one of us is sick.”
Jessica raised an eyebrow. “Sick?”
Hannah nodded. “Something that will make him come inside the cell. And when he does, we strike.”
Jessica hesitated. “That’s a long shot.”
Hannah’s eyes gleamed. “Then we better make it believable.”
