Chapter 9. Kiss Aftermath

Jax’s POV

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

What the fuck did I do?

I ruined everything for us.

I just ran away from the club in vampire speed with tears threatening to fall out of my eyes and while I felt my whole world crumble, the teary face of my mate kept flashing in front of my eyes to torment me further.

I approached a familiar black car and blankly stared at it for sometime before I dropped against it and cried my eyes out.

I dug my head in my arms and cried like I had never cried before.

Why the fuck do I end up hurting myself and my beautiful mate each and every time?

My wolf had long gone in the abyss of sadness after what I said to her and my head had started to feel light and dizzy.

Before I blacked out, I felt someone carry me and that was the last thing I remembered.
