Chapter 24. Pool Nights

Samantha’s POV

Draped in deep red, wind flying robes, I closed my eyes slowly while circling my hands in a full circle above my head.

As the late night breeze broke out, so did the calm on my face, emptying my mind of all thoughts before I stood only on one toe over the surface of the water filled swimming pool of the university.

And no, I would not sink in the pool coz I was trained to be a ninja- a ninja who knew how to control all the elements around her.

Listening to the music that the rustling leaves made nearby and the beats that the crickets provided, I danced along the length and breadth of the pool, letting the cool waters calm me further down.

Powerful, muscular arms snaked around my waist and soft, breathy lips ghosted my neck with tingles.
