Chapter 42. Mate!

Samantha’s POV

The next morning, I was worn out but blissfully satiated. Kyler, like the best blanket in the world, was sprawled out on top of me, his arms in a protective stance and legs bordering mine to keep me from rolling out of the cave.

Even while sleeping, he was in super dooper protective Alpha mode.

Sigh!

He was just perfect.

I glanced back up to see his charming morning face and noticed that his eyes were on me and he belted out an amused huff when I closed back my heavy eyes. I was too drowsy and tired even now.

“Hey Sleeping Beauty,” Kyler softly said before chuckling. “Do you need me to wake you with a kiss?” he teased.

“Yeah,” I breathed out without opening my eyes.

So he did. He leaned down until his face hovered over mine and brushed his mouth over my eager lips. Once. Twice. Thrice. I kissed him back, lips soft and inviting.
