A cup suddenly smashed into pieces on the floor and everyone stared at the source. We were taken aback when we saw Nyssa’s face drained off coloor and she went deathly pale with fright.

I rushed on my feet and gently patted her cheeks multiple times to get her back to reality and normalcy.

“Jesus Christ Nyssa! You are scaring me, girl,” Caius said worriedly.

“What did you see, Nyssa,” Talon took control of the situation.

“I-I saw Chian Li,” Nyssa whispered. “H-He w-was under t-that ch-chandelier-r-r,” she stuttered in fright. “A-and the grandfather clock behind us was chiming as the needles showed midnight.”
