Chapter 27. A Ride to Remember

Zoe’s POV

I had been waiting for the boys in Talon’s private pad with Nyssa, Maelis, Seris and Lyra who had been my makeup artists for the day and seemed pretty pleased with their job.

“Tell me again why am I not charging her 50 bucks for my skill,” Lyra asked pompously.

“Coz no one likes what you did,” I playfully jibed as she rolled her eyes on me. “Don’t roll your eyes on me missy,” I said in a fake stern voice.

“Watch me do so again,” she said as she rolled her eyes at me again.

“Very mature,” I said, exasperatedly. “Where the devil are those men? They are worse than girls. What’s taking them so long to get ready?” I asked impatiently.

“Even if they came naked, they would still be like magnificent beasts,” Seris sighed.

“Ew Seris – that’s gross! You should keep such things to yourself like me,” Maelis smirked.
