“Hmm?” Ice asked still looking at the paper he had in his hands.

“Are you listening to me?” Kim demanded.

“Yeah baby.” Ice agreed.

“Really?” She asked.

“Uh huh.” He replied.

“So, I guess it’s ok for me to go strip since I have no clients for today.” Kim asked.

“What the fuck are you talking about? No way in hell are you stripping! No woman of mine is doing that shit!” Ice huffed.

“So, I have your attention now?” Kim asked.

“Shit! Yes. What’s wrong?” Ice asked.

“Someone cancelled all my appointments for today.” Kim replied.

“Who and why?” Ice asked.

“If I knew the damn answer, do you think I’d be in here asking you?” Kim huffed.

“Look, I’m sorry. I’m just buried up in paperwork and was distracted.” Ice explained.

“Never mind, I’m going to go do walk ins.” Kim huffed.

“Babe?” Ice asked.

Kim got up and walked out. She did walk ins for the rest of the day and left while Ice was still in the office.
