Chapter 49

Kim sent out texts to her girls about the courthouse wedding. Ice texted the guys. The promotion turned out to be a great idea and cleared up Kim’s work schedule by half. The following Thursday, Ice and Kim went to the courthouse.

Raine, Jax, Maverick, Sam, Smokey, Hunter, Steele, Carmen, I.T., and Ginger were there with them. Kim wore a white lace dress that hit just at her knees. Ice wore black dress pants and a white dress shirt. He drew the line at wearing a tie. Kim was fine with that. She had too much of that in her past. A short ceremony later, and they were announced as husband and wife.

“Congrats, man. Never thought I’d see the day!” Jax slapped Ice on the back, laughing.

“You and me both, brother. But when it happens, it hits you like a freight train,” Ice replied.
